Return to the Bridges Run (3423)

North-Eastern Victoria Chapter
Attendance: 0 / 30

Last year NEV did the Build A Bridge Run - which was enjoyed by all but marred by the bad weather. We were asked to repeat the run, so here it is. Starting from Avenel, we will visit an old stone bridge before heading for Seymour and the old highway bridge over the Goulburn River. Then we are off to the magnificent trestle bridge at Pyalong, and the steel bridge at Redesdale. We make our way to lunch in the park at Malmsbury (shops available or BYO lunch). Here we will see the still in use Malmsbury Viaduct - and hopefully this time V-Line won't be doing track work and replacing trains with buses. (All that effort in timing the run to see the train go over the viaduct was wasted last time). Return run to Avenel, or own way home after lunch.
