COVID-19 UPDATE

Club Events

We are guided by the rules outlined by the Victorian and Tasmanian Governments about the relaxation or increasing of the lockdown, and as an affiliated club, we are also directed by the Motorsport Australia (CAMS) in relation to non-competition events.

The Chapter Captains have been working with the Club Captain Social (Peter Dannock) and have developed a set of guidelines for the recommencement of events.

Click on below link for details (to be read in conjunction with the existing run rules and incident procedures):

Club Social Runs – COVID-19

Chapter Captains are currently working on the reinstatement of runs, dependent on State rules.

Any Club runs will still be required to follow the guidelines which includes registration procedures for social runs.

Motorsport – Motorsport activities in the Club continue to be subject to the current Victorian/Tasmanian Government COVID-19 community health regulations and advice. Events run under a Motorsport Australia permit are to comply with the provisions of that permit and the Return to Race guidelines, which include specific requirements for maintaining physical distancing and good hygiene practices. Similarly, events run under a AASA permit are to comply with the provisions of that body. Any requirements stipulated by the hosting circuit must also be complied with.

NOTE – Anyone who is obliged to self isolate as required by the guidelines from the Victorian/Tasmanian Government should not attend a Club event (social or motorsport event), nor should anyone exhibiting COVID-19 type symptoms.

Kind regards,

Coral
